Photo courtesy Ramada Plaza JBR Speakeasy, an American themed bar located in Ramada Plaza JBR aims to reflect in the traditions of speakeasies from the prohibition era of 1920's, it offers a wide selection of drinks, burgers, grills and entertainment including theme nights, DJ, jukebox, and a darts area. So does it live up to everything it claims?    The An swer is yes! I was recently invited to a 'Bloggers Burger off' (yup I just made that up!), where were had to fight it out on the burger table and come up with our very own burger with a mix bag of ingredients. I did not win the burger off, but my friend did, and that's reason enough to celebrate, which I did by eating my own marvelous creations. I chose a veggie patty and topped it up with a combination of blue cheese and thin apple shavings, along with some olives, cheddar cheese, some chilly and mayo. The chef complimented my blue cheese and apple pairing, I clearly that as a win! Now coming dow

Review - Detox Delight

Tiny Energy balls Being a blogger involves eating out a lot and being a dessert lover just adds extra unhealthy calories to the body. That's why detoxing is really important, not just for a blogger but for everyone who's diet involves eating unhealthy food more often than not.  Detox delight helps you bring your body back in line. Food Review - Zafran

It's not hidden secret that I love trying out new food, but many a times I crave to get back to my roots. Its this craving that led me to Zafran, the contemporary Indian restaurant.  We were welcomed with a basket of papad and fried rice chips commonly know as 'fry yums.' Zafran has a wide menu of drinks, ranging from traditional Indian to contemporary of-course. We started off with a mango lassi (which has no added sugar) and a watermelon and mint smash for me. Both the drinks went down very well with our palate and the food (Tip - the lassi is quite heavy, so order your mains accordingly). After the cool and refreshing drinks were served if was time to bring on the hot stuff. From the vegetarian starters we tasted the   Dahee kababs , Aloo Tikkia and the vegetable chops. The Dahee (yogurt) kababs were super soft and all the flavours were incorporated into the dahee (this dish uses hung curd) and oozed out in every bite. Breaking into these kabas was
