As some of you may know I am now on a vacation in India, so the post on this blog will not be as regular, but don't worry you can read about my travels on my other blogs  here  http://www.blogger.com/profile/17019443752073240350   and follow me on @ komalrlakhani on twitter as well as instagram .  In this post I want to talk about an organisation I recently came across called Sougha. More on that later, lets see what October had in store for us.  The Pink Ribbon - a symbol of Breast cancer awareness world wide - Image courtesy www.clker.com First of all I would like to remind everyone that its Break Cancer awareness month, so think pink, wear pink and spread the awareness. Its very much likely that everyone reading this blog is already aware of this, so lets take it on ourselves to personally tell everyone, especially women that we come across to see a doctor and learn how to do a self scan every month for lumps and anything unusual in the breast. According Harvard School of Public Health women above the age of 20 should get checked regularly. For women up till the age of 39, a clinical exam once every three years and above 40, clinical as well as a mammogram every year.
