Bio Oil - Review

As you might have seen on my Snapchat I've been using bio oil regularly these days.. It's one of the many thing's I've taken up as the pre wedding care. 

It's been a month since I started using it and over all I've like how it's not to sticky and gives a nice sheen to my skin while keeping it hydrated. 

Does bio oil help with stretch marks? Unfortunately no, I got stretch marks form gaining weight in high school and bio oil did not help in reducing those. But I guess the product is designed to stop new stretch marks from appearing. Luckily I don't have any new ones.

So should you use bio oil? It is a good replacement for thicker creams and lotions so you can give it a try.

Bhindi 'Jaliwi' (Burnt okra)

Bhendi or as some may not it as lady finger or okra is a green veggie that is very common to Indian cooking and there are easily a 100 ways of cooking it. I choose a crowd favourite Crispy fried bhindi. Essentially what you have to do here is 1. fry the bhendi 2. take it out of the oil and season with some amaing Indian spices What I did the first time... Burnt bhindi 1. cut the bhindi into small pieces after washing 2. heated the oil and just dropped in the bhindi  3. I wanted it crispy so I let it cook, just when it turned dark green I went into to catch a glimpse of the tv leaving it on high flame. When I returned the bhendi was pretty charred to perfection. Mistake one - when you add bhindi into the hot oil it bubbles up and lot throwing splatter of hot oil all around. Food Review - Circle Café

Circle Café has proudly joined the re-invention club and launched a new menu recently and I'm going to give you a low down on how well they scored. Tucked away into the quite Business Bay square in downtown Dubai, Circle Café is a cosy hidden gem. The simple and elegant interiors give a very relaxed home feel which makes the food more enjoyable. Let's get down to business then..First up were the Bagel chips. As the name suggests they were thinly sliced baked Bagel chips served with a Tarama Truffle dip. From the first bite I knew this dish was going to be in my top three for the night. They were so crisp and light that I couldn't stop munching. The zatar type seasoning gave it the perfect amount of subtle flavour. For those with a preference for stronger taste, the dipping sauce gives it a unexpected punch which grows on you with every bite.
