A big hello to everyone.... While I'm still busy celebrating the season of love and holy matrimony in India I thought I'd bring to you some listing on events happening in the UAE. So if you don't have any plans yet, read on ti know more.

Novotel Dubai Al Barsha is sharing the love on Valentine’s Day with several special packages from their numerous F&B outlets.

Whether you have someone to share Valentine’s Day with or not, Societe has created a concept that appeals to both couples and singletons for the most romantic date in the calendar.

On Friday 13th February, Societe Dubai Marina is hosting a Cupid party (Love) whilst the newly opened Societe Jumeirah is the stage for an ‘anti-valentine’s’ party (Hate) with a very different theme.

At the other end of the city, Societe Jumeirah’s anti-valentines party is perfect for those who believe that this is a Hallmark holiday and who are single and ready to mingle. The two-storey venue’s red-hot theme sees staff wearing glowing horns and tails and serving chilli infused beverages throughout the night. From 10pm until 3am the hotspot will be filled with hits such as Take That’s ‘Relight My Fire’ and Nelly’s ‘Hot In Here’. There is no cover charge for the special event.

Food Review - Circle Café

Circle Café has proudly joined the re-invention club and launched a new menu recently and I'm going to give you a low down on how well they scored. Tucked away into the quite Business Bay square in downtown Dubai, Circle Café is a cosy hidden gem. The simple and elegant interiors give a very relaxed home feel which makes the food more enjoyable. Let's get down to business then..First up were the Bagel chips. As the name suggests they were thinly sliced baked Bagel chips served with a Tarama Truffle dip. From the first bite I knew this dish was going to be in my top three for the night. They were so crisp and light that I couldn't stop munching. The zatar type seasoning gave it the perfect amount of subtle flavour. For those with a preference for stronger taste, the dipping sauce gives it a unexpected punch which grows on you with every bite. Food Review - Carluccio's and Bloomsbury Review

 The Dubai Mall has numerous hidden gems and every time I go there I stumble upon something new. A little pop up shop or cafe situated in some corner of the mall can always surprise. The places I tried this week aren't very hidden, but this was the first time I tried them. I did come across a new home store where I've never been before, but today we'll stick to Carluccio's and Bloomsbury. Carluccio's as the name suggest is Italian. You have two seating options, one facing the fountain and the other facing the mall (see image below). The service was friendly and quick considering the fact that it was a Thursday. We ordered two pizzas, a pasta and a salad. The margarita was thin crust, soft, chewy and pretty good. They did not have any options in chicken pizza's so we ordered for grilled chicken topping with our pizza., the result chicken strips on top of the same Margarita pizza. It din't taste bad, cause it still taste the same with just chicken on to
