A casual look for a day of exploring or a bbq party

It's time for Autumn, but still feels like summer. This look is perfect for an outdoor bbq, or even a day out exploring the city, or a garden picnic. 

Decoding the Look - This look is simple to achieve, here I have paired a quirky t-shirt with high waist shorts, converse, a sling bag and light jewelry. Too much jewelry is never a good idea while on the move, it can make you feel bulky and if you are someone who sweats a lot then it's even more annoying.

Alternatively - If your day doesn't involve a lot of walking, you can pair it with tie up sandals. And if the weather is getting a bit chilly a denim or leather jacket will go perfectly well. If it's sunny you can add a cool hat to the cool

Do Not - 1. Wear excess jewelry
2. Wear beach flip flops if you going to walk a lot, they do not provide enough support for your back and some of them can burn your feet if the ground is too hot. (especially in the Middle East where the weather is almost 50 degrees C).

P.S. If you have curvy thighs like mine make sure to use anti chaffing cream, or Vaseline or simply baby powder to avoid a nasty 'chub-rub'

Food Review - Circle Café

Circle Café has proudly joined the re-invention club and launched a new menu recently and I'm going to give you a low down on how well they scored. Tucked away into the quite Business Bay square in downtown Dubai, Circle Café is a cosy hidden gem. The simple and elegant interiors give a very relaxed home feel which makes the food more enjoyable. Let's get down to business then..First up were the Bagel chips. As the name suggests they were thinly sliced baked Bagel chips served with a Tarama Truffle dip. From the first bite I knew this dish was going to be in my top three for the night. They were so crisp and light that I couldn't stop munching. The zatar type seasoning gave it the perfect amount of subtle flavour. For those with a preference for stronger taste, the dipping sauce gives it a unexpected punch which grows on you with every bite. Food Review - Carluccio's and Bloomsbury Review

 The Dubai Mall has numerous hidden gems and every time I go there I stumble upon something new. A little pop up shop or cafe situated in some corner of the mall can always surprise. The places I tried this week aren't very hidden, but this was the first time I tried them. I did come across a new home store where I've never been before, but today we'll stick to Carluccio's and Bloomsbury. Carluccio's as the name suggest is Italian. You have two seating options, one facing the fountain and the other facing the mall (see image below). The service was friendly and quick considering the fact that it was a Thursday. We ordered two pizzas, a pasta and a salad. The margarita was thin crust, soft, chewy and pretty good. They did not have any options in chicken pizza's so we ordered for grilled chicken topping with our pizza., the result chicken strips on top of the same Margarita pizza.
